General booking terms

1. The service

Djerba Taxi provides private taxi, airport transfer and guided-tour services in a private vehicle with driver on the island of Djerba (Tunisia) and from Djerba-Zarzis International Airport (DJE).

Trips are carried out in a private vehicle with driver. No trip is shared with other passengers unless the service description explicitly says so.

2. Booking

A booking is confirmed when you receive a booking reference and a secure link to your ticket. Confirmation is sent by e-mail where e-mail is configured, and stays available at any time from your booking link.

The requested information (name, contact details, pickup and destination, date and time, passengers and luggage) is required to validate the trip.

3. Prices

The price shown while booking is the final price for the requested service (flat transfer fare, hourly rate, or tour price). It is expressed in euros and excludes optional extras you have not chosen.

Selected extras (child seat, name sign, meet and greet, additional waiting time, additional stops, water) are charged on top and are shown before you confirm.

The night rate applies to transfers requested after 21:00 local time. Any change to the itinerary once the trip has started may require a new quote, accepted by you before it is carried out.

4. Punctuality and duration

The driver meets you at the pickup point within the notice shown on your booking. Journey times are estimates derived from the distance travelled.

Delays caused by traffic, weather, or decisions by the authorities do not give rise to automatic compensation.

5. Luggage and passengers

The number of passengers and items of luggage is limited by the vehicle reserved. Declaring more than the vehicle can carry may result in being refused on board, or in a second vehicle being required at your cost.

Unattended luggage, valuables, perishable food and animals remain entirely at your own risk.

6. Liability

Djerba Taxi is liable for loss directly resulting from performing the contract, up to the amount paid for the trip concerned.

Delays or loss caused by events outside Djerba Taxi's reasonable control are excluded.

7. Complaints

Any complaint about a trip must be sent within 7 days of the end of the journey via WhatsApp or e-mail, quoting your booking reference.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Tunisian law. Failing an amicable resolution, the courts of Djerba are competent.
